Right Foot Forward supports the joy, creativity and sense of wonder that is in all youth by way of skateboarding.
Through charitable donations Right Foot Forward provides all of the equipment and instruction necessary for local youth of diverse backgrounds to pursue their passion or desire to skateboard. Through skateboarding kids will be able to meet and form friendships with other young skaters, and learn from experienced volunteer skateboard instructors.

Mike Smith, founder of Right Foot Forward, has been skating for over 30 years. His passion for skateboarding lead him to own his own skate shop as a young adult, currently Mike is General Manager of a commercial construction company here in Columbus Ohio. You may even catch him skating on his lunch break at a local park around Columbus. Skateboarding has been profound in his life and he wants to promote the culture he loves and help kids interested in learning how to skate by providing them with a safe place, and gear to do so.

To provide youth a safe place to be themselves while building confidence through the joy of skateboarding. We believe in creativity, individuality, and the openness to learn new things.
